Governor Expands Vaccinations to All Arkansans and Removes State Mask Mandate

Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson on Tuesday, March 30th, announced that vaccinations would be made available to all Arkansans aged 16 and older. In addition, with over 1.1 million vaccines administered in Arkansas and the number of active cases significantly lower in recent weeks, the Governor also announced that he would immediately lift the state mandate for masks. However, municipalities, businesses and schools may still carry their own mask policies to mitigate spread of the COVID-19 virus. In addition, state employees are still required to wear masks and maintain social distance protocols.
