Rick Cartwright, who will retire June 30th from his position as Director of Extension Services for the University of Arkansas, was recently interviewed by Delta Farm Press to get his thoughts on the future of agriculture after he exits. He spoke of the potential of gene editing and advanced robotics, and his confidence in the next generation of leaders in agriculture for addressing the future needs of the industry. Cartwright began his work with the University of Arkansas in 1992.
