Delta Solar Gets Extra Charge From New Investor

Delta Solar, an Arkansas-based solar energy developer and service provider, recently announced a significant new equity investment and partnership that will help the company meet the growing demand of solar power in various market segments, including agriculture. The company, which is co-owned by Agricultural Council of Arkansas board of director member AJ Hood, will now have a boost of support from a new investor in Bob East who will serve as Chairman for the company.

East, of Little Rock, has been a business leader with a successful resume including East-Harding Construction, Advanced Cabling Systems, and real estate investments. He's also been very active in supporting the University of Arkansas and the Walton School of Business. In announcing the new investment partnership, Delta Sun indicated a heavy interest in serving the agricultural sector as it continues to expand in the development of solar power production. Delta Solar is a sponsor of the Ag Council of Arkansas.
