Earlier this month, U.S. Representatives Rick Crawford (AR-01) and Tracey Mann (KS-01) led 12 Members of Congress in sending a letter to President Biden urging him to hold India accountable for violating their World Trade Organization (WTO) commitments. India, which provides massive subsidies for its rice and wheat farmers outside of what is traditionally acceptable under the WTO, has created other significant world market disruptions in relation to the Russian war against Ukraine.
