A new cover crop survey by the USDA Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE) program, the Conservation Technology Innovation Center (CTIC), and the American Seed Trade Association (ASTA) provided new data and information touting potential benefits of cover crops. Some of the benefits cited by the survey include greater weed control, reduced water utilization, and solid yields.
