The Continuing Resolution approved by the U.S. House of Representatives on September 21st, which provides ongoing funding for the federal government through December 3rd, also includes $10 billion in funding for USDA to continue the Wildfire Hurricane Indemnity Program (WHIP+) for the 2020 and 2021 crop years. The measure will go before the Senate for additional consideration, but congress must enact a spending bill before the fiscal year concludes at the end of September.
