Arkansas First District Congressman Rick Crawford recently joined a podcast with AgriHealth Network in which he discussed his personal background and his path to Congress. He also discussed his involvement in agriculture policy as Congressman and a member of the House Agriculture Committee where he is second in rank. In addition, Congressman Crawford addressed the impact of the Russian war against Ukraine on global agriculture and food markets as well as other global threats to the United States in the area of agriculture. He closed by discussing mental health, the stressful nature of farming and the agriculture industry, and he spoke of his faith and his recommendations for people facing mental health challenges due to stress and other factors.
Crawford serves as a member of the House Agriculture Committee, the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, and the House Intelligence Committee.
