Boozman Urges Biden Administration to Find Market Access Opportunities

U.S. Senator John Boozman (R-AR), ranking member of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, joined other Republican colleagues from the Senate Agriculture Committee and Finance Committee in a letter to U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai and U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack urging them to prioritize market access initiatives as part of America’s trade agenda. Of particular focus was related to the administration's decision not to pursue comprehensive free trade agreements under the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF). The letter urged more ambitious market-opening initiatives for U.S. workers, farmers, ranchers, and businesses today to increase America’s competitiveness, resilience, and security.
