Boozman Opinion: What is Driving Pessimism in Farm Country?

On Friday, December 3rd, U.S. Senator John Boozman (R-AR) released an op-ed focused on the issue of declining farmer sentiment as it relates to inflation pressures facing agriculture. Boozman, Arkansas's senior senator, is Vice Chairman of the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Food and Forestry. In his editorial, he places blame for much of the inflationary pressures facing farmers on policies from President Biden and the democratic congressional majority. He urges democrats to discontinue their efforts and refocus on working towards better solutions by engaging across the aisle for common sense solutions rather than partisan solutions that he believes are failed.
