Boozman Announces Reelection Campaign for US Senate

On Sunday, March 7th, U.S. Senator John Boozman (R-AR) announced his plans to run for re-election for his third term. Boozman currently serves as Vice Chair of the Senate Agriculture Committee and is a member of the Environment and Public Works (EPW) Committee and the Appropriations Committee. If re-elected, Boozman could potentially become Chairman of the Senate Agriculture Committee where he would oversee the development of the reauthorization of the farm bill, which is set to expire in 2023. Boozman has been a strong advocate for farmers, the agriculture industry and rural communities in his various roles in the U.S. Senate.

His announcement comes at a time when several of his colleagues have announced plans to not seek re-election.
