Biden Puts U.S. Back in Climate Accord

On his first day in office, President Joe Biden took action to bring the United States back into the Paris Climate Agreement. The 2015 agreement is an international treaty on climate change that was adopted by 196 parties with each nation presenting goals towards limiting global warming. The U.S. set goal under the agreement is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 26% to 28% by 2025 from a baseline emission level from the year 2005.
