On Tuesday, March 1, President Joe Biden delivered his first state of the union address as president. Much of the address focused on Russia's invasion of the Ukraine, and the United States' efforts to work with global allies to condemn the unprovoked military attack and punish the Russian economy and provide defense aid to Ukraine in an effort to convince Russia to discontinue the assault and attempt to conquer. The speech also included a domestic policy agenda that focused largely on rebuilding infrastructure and expanding manufacturing in the U.S.
