On Wednesday, June 24th, Bayer announced that it had reached settlement agreements to substantially resolve major outstanding legacy Monsanto litigation, which includes agreements to bring closure to the vast majority of the current Roundup™ product liability claims. Bayer also stated that the settlement establishes a strong framework to resolve the remainder of the litigation. In addition, the company also announced separate agreements to resolve the dicamba drift litigation and most of the company’s PCB water litigation.
