Arkansas's State Forester Named President of National Association of State Foresters

Joe Fox, the state forester of Arkansas, was elected to serve as president of the National Association of State Foresters in 2021. As the director of the Forestry Division of the Arkansas Department of Agriculture, Fox is responsible for the statewide delivery of wildland fire protection services and technical forestry assistance on both public and private lands. Joe has served as state forester since 2012 and he's a past president of the Arkansas Forestry Association and past chairman of the Arkansas Forestry Commission.
