Arkansas World Trade Center Names New Head

On July 19, the World Trade Center Arkansas announced that Denise Thomas was selected as the next leader of the organization. This announcement makes her the first Black woman to become CEO of a World Trade Center in the United States. She will replace W. Dan Hendrix, who retired at the end of June. Thomas previously served as trade director for the organization and has been with the World Trade Center for 14 years and previously worked for Walmart.
