The Arkansas Rice Federation is currently searching for a self motivated, high energy individual with a passion for agriculture to be the trade association's next Executive Director. The Executive Director will be responsible for the overall management of the Arkansas Rice Federation and it's member organizations; Arkansas Rice Council, Arkansas Rice Farmers, Arkansas Rice Millers and Merchants and all contractors. The Executive Director will report to the Arkansas Rice Federation Board of Directors. Please see the full list of duties and responsibilities attached.
This individual should have strong knowledge of row crop production agriculture. Knowledge of the rice industry and trade association management are preferred. Great communication and consensus-building skills along with strategic planning, project management, and media relations are highly desired.
The start date for the position is on or after August 1, 2020.
