Arkansas Revenues Remain Strong with Solid Sales and Income Tax Collections

Arkansas state revenue collections remained strong in the month of January continuing a positive trend for the fiscal year that ends June 30th. For January 2022, the state experienced an 8.3% increase in tax collections from the same month in 2021. The collections exceeded December forecasts from the Department of Finance and Administration by 28.7%, showing continued economic expansion. So far, year to date, collections exceed 2021 levels by 5.9%.
