Arkansas Farmers Talk Cover Crop Experiences

In cooperation with the Soil Health Institute and the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture, three Arkansas farmers participated in a webinar on February 19th to discuss experiences with cover crops and share ideas with farmers interested in adopting cover crops in their operations. The farmers explained some of the benefits and challenges associated with the integration of cover crops into their farming practices. With a growing interest in carbon sequestration and potential policy to incentivize farming practices that provide carbon sequestration, there is a growing interest among farmers in exploring cover crops.
