As Arkansas farmers continue with peak harvest of the 2020 crop, they're once again dealing with the threat of an impending storm out of the Gulf of Mexico. Hurricane Delta is expected to make landfall along the Louisiana coast Friday and move through Arkansas on Saturday. The most significant threat is heavy rains at this point. This is the second Hurricane to impact Arkansas during the 2020 harvest. Hurricane Laura arrived in Arkansas on August 27th causing heavy rains and winds and isolated flooding, which lead to some downed rice in certain areas.
