Arkansas based startup, AcreTrader, an online farmland investing platform that removes barriers to farmland investing and ownership, announced it recently raised $12 million in a new Series A funding round. The new funding brings the total amount of funds raised by the company to $18 million and allows the company to improve overall access, liquidity, and transparency to farmland transactions across the nation through improved online tools, data science, marketing, and expansion of AcreTrader’s team of agriculture, finance, and technology experts.
