On Monday, April 19th, the USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) issued an updated Crop Progress and Condition Report. According to the report, Arkansas farmers have planted 43 percent of corn acres, 23 percent of rice and 12 percent of soybeans. Winter wheat is 28 percent headed.
