Several national commodity and ag industry groups joined together recently to provide a policy white paper to candidates running for President of the United States in an effort to assist the policy directions of both campaigns regardless of the potential election outcome. The 12 page document lays out the current challenges facing the agriculture industry and the policy needs to address those concerns and improve the agriculture economy. The document spoke in generalities, but did identify specific issue areas and policy directions that were important with respect to each issue area.
