The Arkansas Soybean Promotion Board (ASPB) and the Arkansas Soybean Association (ASA) recently announced the winners of the 2021 Grow for the Green Soybean Yield Contest. The yield contest was established in 2007 as an effort to encourage on farmers to explore various prodution methods aimed a increasing yields and to provide a way for soybean farmers to share their experiences and work towards increasing overall statewide yield averages.
The contest divides state soybean producers into 9 groups, 7 geographic regions, one all state conventional (non-GMO) category and a Champions Category consisting of all previous 100-bushel winners. Cash prizes were awarded to the top three in each division achieving a minimum of 60 Bu/A with the exception of the Champions.
