$1.9 Trillion American Rescue Plan Expected to Get House Vote

The U.S. House of Representatives is soon expected to take up and vote on H.R. 1319, the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. The legislation, which aims to provide resources to combat COVID-19 and stimulate economic activity, is expected to be approved by the House mostly on a party line vote. It is also expected to soon be approved by the U.S. Senate also on a mostly party line vote using the budget reconciliation procedures to ensure passage with a minimum 51 vote threshold.
