Support Free Trade Agreements
Senate Majority Leader Reid (D-NV) and Minority Leader McConnell (R-KY) announced that when Congress returns from the August recess, they have agreed to consider free trade agreements (FTA) with Korea, Colombia and Panama and the Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) program. The Agricultural Council of Arkansas asks its members to contact members of the Arkansas Congressional Delegation to let them know of your support for these free trade agreements. These FTAs, if approved by Congress and signed into law by the President, will help expand export markets for Arkansas farmers, create American jobs, and grow America’s economy. It’s important that our Senators and Representatives support moving these agreements forward and vote in favor of them.
