Call to Action on Free Trade Agreements
On Monday, President Obama submitted to Congress the three Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) with Columbia, Panama, and South Korea. These FTAs are currently under consideration in Congress and may come for a vote in the near future. The Agricultural Council of Arkansas asks its members to contact members of the Arkansas Congressional Delegation to let them know of your support for these free trade agreements. These FTAs, if approved by Congress and signed into law by the President, will help expand export markets for Arkansas farmers, create American jobs, and grow America’s economy. It’s important that our Senators and Representatives support moving these agreements forward and vote in favor of them.
