FDA Approves Arkansas-made Peanut Allergy Product

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently approved a pharmaceutical product developed in Arkansas to help children overcome peanut allergies. The product, known as Palforzia, was developed by the Arkansas Children’s Research Institute in Little Rock. The Institute is a collaborative effort between Arkansas Children’s Hospital and University of Arkansas Medical Sciences (UAMS).

Palforzia is an immunotherapy treatment product designed to desensitizing children to peanut protein over time.
