October 10 Arkansas Crop Production Report

On Thursday, October 10th, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) released an updated Crop Production Report for Arkansas. According to the report, corn yield is expected to average 175 bushels per acre (down 6 bushels from last year), cotton yield is expected to average 1,157 pounds per acre (up 24 pounds from 2018), peanut yield is expected to average 5,000 pounds per acre (up 100 pounds from 2018), rice yield is expected to average 7,500 pounds per acre (down 20 pounds from last year), and soybean yield is expected to average 50 bushels per acre (down 0.5 bushel from last year).
