Corteva CEO Calls for Agriculture to Help Address Climate Issues

Jim Collins, the CEO of Corteva, one of the world’s largest seed and agricultural crop protection companies, recently spoke in a public forum where he indicated that farmers and the agriculture industry as a whole must play a major role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. He indicate that agriculture was well poised to capitalize on such an endeavor, and that farmers and agribusiness can contribute to a solution for reduction of greenhouse gases through new crop traits, precision agriculture and improved farming practices. He stated that he and Corteva were working with other companies and other experts to develop meaningful and workable policies towards this goal.
