Comments Encouraged for White River Basin Study
On Wednesday, September 11th, at Jacksonport State Park, Arkansas State University (ASU) held its first of three public meetings for the White River Basin Study it’s conducting with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to determine if any changes need to be made to the system and its design plans and water control plans to address flood control and water needs in the future. Stakeholder input is encouraged, and public comments can be submitted here.
PUBLIC MEETING DATES
There will be three public meetings organized to allow stakeholders and the public to offer comments. Those dates are:
- Sept. 11, 6-7:30 p.m.

- Sept. 30, 6-7:30 p.m.
ASU-Mountain Home Campus, The Sheid/Trout Nature Center Room, Mountain Home, AR
