G7 Summit Concludes with Little Drama
Over the weekend, President Trump joined leaders of Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Japan, and Canada, in Paris, France, for the G7 Summit. The summit offered an opportunity for world leaders to communicate jointly and develop unified policies towards world matters. President Trump left the meeting lavishing praise for the other participants and expressing optimism for the group’s shared initiatives.
Much of the discussions related to the United States revolved around ongoing trade disputes, including China. The participating nations agreed to work together to address shared concerns related to China, especially in areas intellectual property, technology transfer practices, and other issues that come with conducting certain business activities in China.
