Indigo Ag Plans to Pay Farmers for Carbon Sequestration

Indigo Ag, a relatively new agriculture start-up company with world headquarters in Memphis, TN, announced that it would implement a new program designed to pay farmers for storing carbon. Indigo is hoping to serve as market maker and the middle-man between farmers and investors (companies and individuals) looking to purchase carbon credits. Indigo currently offers a wide range of agricultural products and services from seed and soil microbials to ag tech services.
