Senate Disaster Assistance Appropriation Bill Introduced

As the House and Senate continue to work on legislation to provide disaster assistance for a variety of recent natural disasters throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico in recent years, a new plan was introduced on May 23rd in the Senate Appropriations Committee. The plan is said to have bipartisan support and the support of President Trump.

It could be approved by both the Senate and House prior to the week-long Memorial Day recess.
