Trump Administration Releases E-15 Rule

On Tuesday, March 12th, the Trump Administration released a proposed regulation regarding ethanol policy for the United States to allow for year round E-15. The move is seen as a significant benefit to agriculture as it would lead to additional corn demand and signify long-term support from the Trump Administration for ethanol. The announcement drew praise from the U.S. corn and ethanol industries.

However, the continued use of refinery exemptions continues to frustrate the ethanol and corn industries.
