In Congressional Hearings, Trump Administration Says China Deal Not Coming in March

Members of Trump’s leading trade negotiating team came before Congress for hearings to provide updates on negotiations with China. According to the testimony, an agreement will not be reached in March, but the two nations are working on an agreement that would consist of over 100 pages of points of agreement, including Chinese purchases of U.S. agricultural commodities.

The related Senate Finance Committee Hearings focused on the World Trade Organization and the President’s Budget proposal.
