Farm Bill Heads to Finish Line

The 2018 farm bill continues to inch closer to the finish line. Conference principals have reached an agreement on language, which is now being scored by the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) to determine budget impact. Legislative activity slowed during the first week of December to accommodate the services related to President George H.W. Bush. Congress is expected to take up the farm bill the week of December 17th, and President Trump is expected to sign the measure into law.
