China Trade Dispute Causing Pain to Cotton Too

In addition to the well documented injury to the soybean market as a result of the ongoing trade dispute with China, U.S. cotton is also suffering.  Concern is building over cancelled contracts, reduced orders, and potential for China to source non-U.S. cotton or substitute polyester for cotton. While the soybean market has received most of the trade dispute spotlight to date, cotton is also significantly impacted.
