Trump Administration Lays Out Near Term Regulatory Reform Agenda

The Trump Administration recently announced a new outlay for regulatory reform plans for various agencies, many of which deal with the agriculture industry. The agenda items build upon previous reform initiatives, including the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Waters of the U.S. (WOTUS), and also includes some new reform proposals. The efforts are designed to amend and eliminate regulations that are ineffective, duplicative, and obsolete, or those that may be considered harmful to economic growth, innovation or individual liberties.
