Wheeler Takes Helm at EPA

On Thursday, July 5th, EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt submitted a resignation letter to President Trump. The news was made through a tweet by President Trump who stated that deputy Administrator Andrew Wheeler would assume the lead role at the agency as Acting Administrator. Wheeler became Acting Administrator July 9th. Pruitt had been facing a wide range of criticism from ethical standards to actions related to renewable fuel policy.
