Farmers Brace for Tariff Implementation

U.S. farmers and other American industries are bracing for a full scale trade war between the United States and several key trading partners around the world including China, NAFTA countries and the European Union. Several tariffs that were announced in recent weeks will begin to go into force on July 6th and additional tariffs are likely to follow as tensions and threats continue to escalate. The full impact on the trade wars are not known in the market, but commodity prices have fallen precipitously recently as the threats and uncertainty have grown under the ongoing volatility in trade markets.
