Governor Makes New Appointments to Arkansas State Plant Board

On Thursday, April 26th, Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson announced the appointment of two new board members to serve on the Arkansas State Plant Board.  Sam Stuckey of Clarkedale was appointed to represent cotton farmers and John Fricke of Planters Cotton Oil Mill in Pine Bluff was appointed to represent the fertilizer and oil mill industries. They replace Danny Finch of Caraway and Larry Jayroe of Forrest City whose terms had expired. Both Stuckey and Fricke are active members of the Ag Council of Arkansas and well respected among their peers in the industry.
