Farm Bill Introduced and Ready for Committee Consideration

On Thursday, April 12, House Agriculture Committee Chairman Mike Conaway (R-TX) released the Farm and Nutrition Act of 2018 (Farm Bill) and announced that the measure would be considered by the full Agriculture Committee on Wednesday April 18th. The bill offered reauthorization of important commodity programs along with some reforms to nutrition programs and modifications to conservation programs and other areas.
