USDA Releases Crop Production Report

On November 10, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Agricultural Statistical Service (NASS) released an updated Crop Production Report estimating crop production in Arkansas for the 2017 crop year.  According to the report, cotton and soybean production are both up from last year while corn and rice production is down from last year. Yield for corn, cotton, and rice are all expected to be up from last year while soybean yields are expected to be down just slightly from 2016.
