Trump Tightens Regulations on Cuba

On Friday, June 16, President Donald Trump made news in Miami, Florida, as he announced a change in U.S. policy towards Cuba.  Unfortunately his announced changes to U.S. policy were restrictive in nature and not intended to further expand commerce between the U.S. and Cuba.  This news was largely disheartening to agricultural interest groups who were hopeful of continued progress towards developing new export markets for commodities.
