House and Senate Bills Aim to Start Cuba Trade, but Trump Position Unknown

Legislation introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate aim to expand U.S. trade and other travel and commercial opportunities in Cuba, but it’s not clear where President Trump is in relation to U.S. policy towards Cuba. President Trump is expected to make an announcement in mid-June to make more clear what his position is towards Cuba and what regulatory actions he may take related to Cuba.
