National Ag Law Center to Host Ag Policy Information Sessions in Morrilton, Rohwer, and Keiser
The National Agricultural Law Center is providing a series of producer meetings *at no cost* to discuss agricultural law issues, with a focus on farm bill developments and federal crop insurance. The meetings will also address aspects of the recent “fiscal cliff” legislation such as the estate tax, agricultural leases, and updates in environmental regulation.
Each of the meetings will run from 10 a.m. until noon, followed by lunch for attendees. RSVPs are encouraged, but not required for lunch planning purposes. To RSVP, or for more information about the meetings, please contact Center Director Harrison Pittman at firstname.lastname@example.org or (479) 575-7640.
The first of the three meetings will be on January 30 in Morrilton at the Conway County Fairgrounds, details available here. The second meeting will be on January 31 in Rohwer, details available here. The third meeting will be held on February 5 at Keiser, details available here.
The meetings are provided by the National Agricultural Law Center through generous gift support from Banks Law Firm, PLLC. The National Agricultural Law Center serves as the nation’s leading source of agricultural and food law research and information, and is a unit of the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture.
